Enrichment Groups

Enrichment and ‘Messy’ Play Groups give children the sort of freedom and sensory experiences that can’t be replicated in a classroom setting.

Messy Play Group

Ages 1-3 with a caregiver

At this age, children learn primarily through sensory experiences and motor activities. With this in mind, our sessions are designed to provide a range of activities that engage all the senses. Through exploring various sights, smells, textures, tastes, sounds, and opportunities for movement, you and your child will be able to fully immerse yourselves in the enriching world of sensory play… and get pretty messy too!

  • Topics we Explore:

Led by a licensed occupational therapist

Activities are tailored to meet group therapy goals and improve specific functional abilities.

Parents drop off and pick up their children at designated times.

Occupational therapy services are covered under some extended help benefit plans. Check your coverage to ensure it is listed.

  • Messy Play Enrichment Groups

Can be facilitated by an adult who is not an occupational therapist, such as a teacher, parent, or other qualified professional.

Activities are often interest-based and exploratory.

Parents may accompany children or participate in activities.

Documentation is often limited to attendance records and basic activity summaries via e-mail.
